A FEW WORDS ABOUT USOur story

Sophie Jarry and Marie Dagneau de Richecour met in London, when they were studying the WSET Diploma together. They were pursuing their wine-making activities at the same time as their jobs. Marie worked in several renowned establishments in London and Sophie organized wine tastings for her private club. After relocating from London to Paris, both became WSET trainers in Paris, they have in common the passion to pass on their knowledge, this is how the Paris Wine Club was born.

Our mission

Wine is too often perceived as technical, complicated. Young people under 30 and women, for example, too often feel overwhelmed by the vocabulary of the wine world that they consider elitist. Also in France, a great wine country, we often neglect the beautiful international wine regions and know little about what is drunk. Our mission is to communicate in a simple and understandable language to as many people as possible, while keeping an international outlook. When possible, we favor wines with the fewest possible inputs, made with respect for people.

Amateurs and professionals

The mission of Paris Wine Club is to make the language of wine accessible, to open the doors to the wine world for amateurs to better choose and savor their wine. For professionals, it's about continuing their learning, you never stop learning when it comes to wine! But also thanks to the WSET diploma, professionals will be able to validate their knowledge and access positions of responsibility.

Professional: benefit from support

At Paris Wine Club, our vocation is to be as close as possible to the professions of the wine world: service, sales, marketing and journalism. You educate about the possibilities and put you in touch with potential recruiters in order to bring you the openings that correspond to you.
